Enable the Jira integration under Settings → Issue Tracking → Jira to create Jira issues from dataflows detected during code scans.
Provide:
- Base URL — your Jira Cloud site URL, for example
https://mycompany.atlassian.net. Jira Data Center and Server are not supported. - Username — the Atlassian account the integration acts as.
- API token — see Atlassian’s documentation on creating API tokens.
HoundDog.ai verifies the credentials on save, so an invalid token is rejected immediately.
Once connected, the Create Jira Issue action on the dataflow detail page lets you pick the Project and Issue Type, and edit Priority, Summary, and Description before filing. The issue is pre-populated with the dataflow’s details.
