Enable the Jira integration under Settings → Ticket Tracking → Jira to create Jira tickets from dataflows detected during code scans.
Provide:
- Base URL — your Jira Cloud site URL, for example
https://mycompany.atlassian.net. Jira Data Center and Server are not supported. - Username — the Atlassian account the integration acts as.
- API token — see Atlassian’s documentation on creating API tokens.
HoundDog.ai verifies the credentials on save, so an invalid token is rejected immediately.
Once connected, the Create Jira Ticket action on the dataflow detail page lets you pick the Project and Issue Type, and edit Priority, Summary, and Description before filing. The ticket is pre-populated with the dataflow’s details.
