You can install the HoundDog.ai GitHub App for advanced features such as automatic CI job configuration and managed scans. As of October 2025, only automated CI configuration is available for GitHub, with managed scans coming soon.
Navigate to Settings > Source Code Managers and click the Add button.
Select GitHub Enterprise and follow the remaining instructions.
- GitHub-hosted: If your GitHub Enterprise instance is hosted by GitHub (for example, github.com or ghe.com), follow the steps for installing the GitHub App. The CI configuration process is similar to the GitHub Cloud instructions.
- Self-hosted (accessible over the public internet): If your GitHub Enterprise instance is self-hosted but accessible over the public internet, follow the same steps for installing the GitHub App. The CI configuration process is similar to the GitHub Cloud instructions.
- Self-hosted (private network): If your GitHub Enterprise instance is self-hosted and not accessible over the public internet, you will need to install the HoundDog.ai Broker to enable communication with your GitHub instance without requiring direct access to your private network.
