Data Elements
More than 150 data element definitions are provided by HoundDog.ai, covering the most common PII, PHI, CHD, and PIFI data critical for compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, and others. On this page, you can view all data element definitions, add your own, and disable or configure the ones you wish to customize.
The data elements page allows you to view all data element definitions using advanced filters covering:
- Data Element
- Status
- Sensitivity
- Source (e.g., HoundDog-provided data element, user-defined, or AI-generated)
- Tags
You can add your own data element definition by clicking on the Create New button.
Additionally, you can select multiple data elements and click the Disable Selected button to disable them if you do not wish to receive PII leak violations for the selected elements.
Lastly, you can configure the HoundDog-provided data element definitions by clicking on the Edit icon. On the drilldown page, you will be able to enable or disable the data element or change its assigned sensitivity.
